  •  is the degree to which software modules are dependent on each other.

  • a piece of software designed to update a computer program or its supporting data.

Exam Q – Explain what the installation routine does

The installation routine will copy the program onto the computer, and other files needed. This may include latest versions of the software from the internet.
It will also copy any library files required such as making system level changes with the registry.
It will also add icons and menus to make the program easily accessable and store any changes or user preferences.
